Just My Best, Inc. plans to publish 6-8 books in 2005. We enjoy working with new authors who have finished their first manuscript. Since we work directly with authors they don't need an agent.

The author should do two complete edits on the manuscript before they submit it. Submit the entire manuscript via email.

Once the manuscript is submitted allow six weeks for a response.

We are not publishing books on poetry, religion, or erotica this year.

Makes It Easy To Self Publish

Print-on-demand makes it easy for writers to self publish their books. Print-on-demand does not require the writer to order thousands of books upfront. With print-on-demand technology the printer prints each book when it is ordered, the writer can order one book or thousands. The writer can also distribute their book through traditional distributors who offer the book to bookstores and libraries. Book stores and Libraries can receive their books within a week, regardless of how big or small their order might be. Writers who work with print-on-demand technology can choose to distribute worldwide if they choose.

The print-on-demand book is equal in quality to those that traditional publishers release. Just because the book is a print-on-demand book does not mean it is a cut rate book. The opposite is true. Many traditional publishers use print-on-demand with an unknown writer’s first book. They don’t waste money on a large printing of books that may not sell. In addition, unlike traditional publishing, print-on-demand books remain available as long as the writer wants them to. The books are stored in digital format at the printer. When ordered, the print-on-demand book is printed and shipped. By utilizing the print-on-demand technology the book remains available longer.
